Wavesport Score

Post by rockrat »

I'm trying to sell my Wavesport Score C-1 in order to buy an open boat. The hull is in good condition. The outfitting is very spartan and was my first attempt at outfitting a c-1. It will paddle fine with the outfitting it has, but it needs a new d-ring for the thigh strap. Pictures available upon request. $150 OBO.

I'll sell this boat for 50$ if someone comes to Brevard to pick it up.

Ouch! What is this telling me about the resale value of my Score!

Well, there is market value and there is personal value - I wouldn't take $300 for mine!

You won't sink the ends like a paddler north of 200 can - it will be much more of a fast river runner and surfer for you. What do you want to do with one?

You can't beat this price.

I'm 220 and I find the Score design too small for me - I haven't spent a load of time in it, but the ends sink so easily that I'm shy to run a real river and can't surf it on much. I haven't really learned to take advantage of the ends for doing squirts and whatever else you're supposed to do in a playboat.

So, I think 170 would be OK and make it a better river runner.
