Another happy Groove owner!!

Post by aldenb »

Well, I now have the plastic Riot Groove in my possession and I paddled it for the first time today!

I don't know if I have ever had so much fun in a boat before!

The Groove is AWESOME! i mean, im only a 150 lbs, but I could throw that thing around like no tomorrow! It's long enough to be stable when throwing ends, but it's so slicy that you can initiate with almost no force.

This boat is really quite something. I just could not stop playing in it. They seriously had to drag me out of the pool.

This boat is going to open up a whole new level of expression for me on the river.

I'll try to put up some pictures tomorrow. (Adam, what's the best place/way to do this?)

take care
Alden

COOOL! I've never seen the plastic proto you've got, so one of these day's we've GOT to boat together (with NZMatt and his Groove, of course!)

If you can put images up somewhere online you can link to them from here putting after it.

Otherwise e-mail me the images and I'll be happy to put them on the groove page, and link them to the CForum from there for you.

And if you ever decide to sell it...you've got a buyer-that puppy is RARE!

Grooves

I believe you can get the Glass version via Angst or Murky Waters. Riot never produced the plastic version, and there are VERY few prototypes floating around (pun intended 8) )

IMAGES OF ALDEN'S GROOVE!

Post by Sir Adam »

Images of his Groove are up on the Groove page now...I'd just post them here, but I think it's best to C them all on one page, along with images of a glass Groove.

Grrove ... the new boat !!

Post by marko »

Groove is cool !! i had one made by Riot on plastic from 99 to 03...

My friens have it somewhere here in Finland. It is a great wheeler and really loose.

On the rec boat section you can see the new boat soon to hit market !! then we can see C-1 plastic blayboat to overtake in groove performance, easyness and fun !

th new boat is compared to riot Groove

as light to get ends down
wheeling speed = douple
looseness of the hull much better. endless superclean spinns etc
bouncability for blunts and helixec
aerial ability
much easier to paddle
super retentive on waves and holes.
