Twister is Gone

Post by Denny Kortze »

Free to a good home... or bad one. Don't care, want it gone.

Mad River Twister OC-1. 13'2" This is a Kevlar slalom racing canoe. No cracks in the hull but it has been sitting on a rack for a while to the glass might be a little dried out. The gunwales are rotted and cracked and need replacing. I've replaced gunwales quite a few time and can instruct anyone interested in the boat how to do it. If someone wants a lightweight racing open canoe this boat would be great.

I'm clearing out everything I don't use anymore. Here is a link to the gallery of all of the open canoes and C-1 conversions I am currently selling.

Also for sale:
Jackson Kayak 2008 (2nd Generation) All Star C-1 Conversion $650
Necky Kayak Chronic C-1 Conversion $250
Necky Witch C-1 Conversion $100
Necky Vibe Kayak (Not a c-1) $350 with Free IR skirt
Necky Blunt C-1 (not pictured) $200

FREE BOATS:
Mad River Canoe Twister
Mohawk Rodeo with cut down ends

Werner Double Diamond Kayak Paddle 193cm
IR Sprayskirt - I believe its a med tunnel (my waist is 32") and Large Rim (fitted for Necky Vibe) $75 or included with price of Vibe

Boats are located in NJ near Toms River. I frequently commute to NYC and could meet someone at Scudders Falls at the Delaware.

trade?

well... congrat's on the boat since it sounds like you beat me to it... the Twister is a big long beast... but kind've fun... I would've just hung it up in the garage with my Edge so it wasn't lonely.

be sure to send me pictures to rub it in...
