I called this lady (919 522-3104). The paddles are actually 52 and 55 inches long. All wood, used a few times, $225 each new, curved blade, palm grip. Her husband has passed away and she'd like to sell the paddles. She wants $90 each.

She seems to be quoting the shaft length
which is actually a more important measurement than overall length. Too short for me, I like a 37.

These are flat water paddles but sound like they might me suitable for some whitewater duty. I wish she had pictures of the grips...

Hard to tell
from the pics, but they might be bentshafts. If not, they might have a standard T-grip. Beef it up with another layer of glass and it might work.

I called yesterday - custom made, straight shft, spoon billed, resin(?) edging, "palm grips". About $30 to ship. Kinda thinking about 'em - would have pulled the trigger for sure if they were whitewater sticks.
