yeah I understand you have to paddle what feels right for you. In theory I have always thought that edges are good for cboating, but when I go creeking in my grande I don't miss them at all. Just personal preference I'm not trying to say one boat is better than another because thats a stupid argument.
I think that the grande suits me well but it has its drawbacks just like any boat.
Larry we do agree on one thing for sure that we both don't like the finkenmeister!!!
Jefe or Jefe Grande ?

OK, I've paddled it a bit more now and through some holes - as Gabe (oopsiflipped) says - it's predictable. The imagination can be a dangerous thing....sbroam wrote:I ain't running the gnar and I've only been in the Remix a handful of times so far, but my impression is that it is very fast, stable, and forgiving - but that stern *might* get you in trouble. I've felt it get grabbed a couple of times (powered through) and when surfing have been able to cut back and it felt like I'd sliced the stern through (like in my playboat). I could see being rear endered in it... But... there is lot's of volume up front...
I'm really liking this boat. I still have to working on maintaining my angle with a boat that has very little edge, but other than that - it's like pushing the easy button.

Larry, you rough on boats. Don't ever ask mine for a swap.Larry Horne wrote: I found three cracks in the Burn last weekend...
Sounds like plastic welding time! But nevermind, just send it over here and I'll do it for you, no charge. Though it might ship back with one less of a super-dooper seat system in it...
Watch out; that river has rocks on the bottom.
