Thanks to the PA Crew

Just want to say thanks to Gumpy, FullGnars, and Big Al for showing me the way down the UY. Special thanks to Al for swimming so I didn't have to be the only one.

UY and Savage

PLG, Gumpy n FullGnarlz,

Great paddlin with you guys. Always happy to keep my swimmin buds like PLG company. Tom/Joe...u guys tore up the UY with Tom on his fst time down and beautifully boofin Natl Falls w/1 min descrption by Joe (who's not done it, yet) n ventually rolling on 3rd try.

Next time, tho, paddle w/me and u've got to be sharper on boat rescuing skills, ok? That was about the longest "swim" I've ever had. ...yet the biggest injury I hav is pfd chaffing under my armpit. Go figure.

How was the Savage for u guys? I had one flip at bottom hole of Memorial Rock rapid and my battery fell out contributing to environmental degradation.

Paddled with PAC the UY again yesterday in shredder n PAC had a tumblin when we took middle line at Heinzerling. His shins look like mine n maybe a broken toe?

Al- Savage was cold and fast. and entertaining, with longboatins canoe runnin the river by itself! lengthy's a heckova boater, chasin that pig down the river

when you say "middle line at heinzerling" are you referring to the time warp? :o i guess the shredder doesn't fit down the other way?

btw, sorry about boofing your face. what rapid was that?

can't wait to get out there again!

yeah u boofed MY HEAD just below Tommy's Hole n before Little Niagra.

Time Warp -- that's it. We went for the meat and hit the skids. Even shredders usually take Gun Barrel.

Man - Sorry to hear about PAC, but good to hear you guys got out. I can see exactly how that would happen on Heinzerling. That's a big drop if you come off it wrong.

Did you roll back up after you flip at Memorial?

Well I'm not sure the right big toe is broken but its a deep deep purple and I'm not "feeling the love" when wearing shoes! :(

Xrayed today ... so we'll C what the doc says. But I'm still heading back on Sat for more! :) UPDATE: UY on hold... doc says its broke and need to see a specialist... not good since its a toe and usually ya just tape them! :-(

As for the line we sort of went side ways through the warp and did the ugly left side of Heinzerling! Endering out of the hole ...leaving the shredder crewless. I then swam most of Zingler  while Al saved the day ...collecting the bits and parts then came and gave me a ride! 8) Not something I plan to repeat in the near term!
