Should we have an all-out Concordia this year?

Do you think we should organize a BIG get together this year (like in '99-try and get 100+ CBoaters together?)

Also-any volunteers for the "organization" of it all?

I will speak up and volunteer to actively help with organizing a Concordia this year. Time is short to host it this spring and into May so this decision needs to be finalized VERY QUICKLY !

I, too, can help organize (through a web page / site, etc...), and am happy to help...but we need a few people right where we want to hold it to nail down a few details (thanks for volunteering KNeal ).

Here's what I was thinking-anyone else chime in who wants to...-in June the week BEFORE or AFTER the Great Falls festival (perhaps see if we can find DaveM and see if he can arrange for the tent?). I'll leave it up to the local folks to figure out where to boat, though I must say if we could do clinics again on the feeder canal that would be GREAT! I know that got quite a few of us into slalom boating....

Any other thoughts? Other locations? DC is mid way for those driving North and South, and I KNOW there are a lot of C Boaters around DC / MD / VA / WV / PA.....
