if i have a kevlar boat with a hole in it i cna repair it with fiberglass with no adverse effects right?

in general it's best to repair like with like, but in all likelyhood the outer layer of the boat IS Fiberglass. I'd use S-glass and West Systems epoxy for the repair (more on Repairs under "Repair" on the left nav. bar).
