Seat height for creeking

Post by Fauxlaf »

Hey you hard core creekers,
which seat height do you use(C1). I Heard sizes between 3 and 25cm...
Thanks in Advance

a higher seat gives more leverage and can be more comfortable. in my creek boat I think my seat is around 8 to 10 cm, 3.5 inches or so. i have never felt like i need it to be taller for more leverage.

I would say its totally personal preference. So on that note, I have a 5.75" saddle in my Dagger Gradient and a 5.5" saddle in my Liquid Logic Remix.

Got poor knees myself and love the higher seats, 6 inches was painful enough, 7 inches was a bit unstable for my liking, 6.5 is where I stand for now. (LL remix 69)
Watch out; that river has rocks on the bottom. :o
