CASCADE INFO

Post by ROD »

Anyone out there have a cascade C-1. I am looking for a couple of measurements off it. Specificly, the length and width of the cockpit opening and the depth from the hull to the top of the rim at the back of the pedestal.

Cascade dimensions

ROD,

I don't have a Cascade myself, but I found out that someone in my canoe club has one sitting around.
I will call him and see if he can get me these measurements.

Great info Mike. Wasn't expecting to get a response so fast.
So here is the way the info is stacking up.
Finkenmeister vs. Cascade
length- 23.5" 26.5"
width - 23" 20.75"
depth - 13" 11"

Looks like the "Fink" is cut larger than a Cascade. I now need to sit in one. Then I need to hopefully locate one to purchase.
Thanks gentleman, Rod.

ROD,

Since you got the Cascade info from Mike W., so I won't asking my friend about measuring his.
If you want to sit in a Finkenmeister, mine is up here in Toronto.
I am not yet sure about my spring paddling, but right now it does not really look as if I might make it down south to the Armada.
If you are however gonna make it up to Ontario or upstate NY this spring, you are welcome to sit in mine and try it out.
