i don't have much use for vynabond, but MEK is bad, bad, bad stuff. avoid it whenever possible. you can use acetone instead for most prep applications like cleaning hull etc. +1 vote for little pieces of minicell. they do a great job getting thin layers of weldwood for foam, so i would figure also good for vynabond or anything else.

I buy Vyna Bond at a local rafting store. I just looked on the web and you can buy it easily in a can from lots of sources. See http://garage-toys.com/vybovire.html for example.

Don't bathe in it. It works better for gluing in outfitting than acetone. Acetone is only bad, bad stuff...
