Just returned from a visit to New England. We went for the wedding of some good friends and as a side-bonus, made a trip to Vermont where I traded my shotgun for a brand-spanking new Palm Sidewinder Classic suit. The tag was still on it.

The suit retails for around $400 but can be found all the way down to the low 3's online. I tested it in a creek yesterday and it does the job. Latex gaskets, reinforced Codura elbows, knees and bum. Front entry. No relief zip, but the front entry zips down for that. Built in socks.

It also has a factory coating that beads up the water, but that goes away after some use. The gaskets all fit very snugly around my nexk and wrists and in fact, trapped so much air in the suit that I was buoyant without a PFD. Looks like I'll need to squeeze all the air out of it before I get situated in the boat.

All in all, the Palm product seems OK. I know it's not top of the line, but it appears to be a reputable product. I'll post a report on it in theSpring after I put it through it's paces.

jatakasawa - not sure the relevance of your post here. I'd suggest you move it to the general forum.
