Wildwater C-2's?

Post by RodeoClown »

Anyone out there know anything about wildwater c-2's? Any boat recommendations for a team? Any possible leads on used boats?

They ARE out there, though I have not seen one for sale yet. If you haven't paddled a Wildwater boat they are VERY interesting...makes the Oxygen look stable :o . I know a fellow who works for LL Bean used to have one, not sure if he still does. You might want to check with Davey Hearn via Maximum Whitewater Performance (link on the Home page)....

Hi RodeoClown,

I think your best bet is on wildwater racing specific websites, like USA wildwater , people on there should be able to help you.

Saw one at the Credit River race last Saturday, man those things are narrow :o ! This thing looked as if it had NO stability whatsoever! Takes a breave crew IMHO to paddle one of those! hat's off to anyone who does so! Good luck in finding one...and if you do , I would definitely sign up to try it once

Thanks for the tips. The guy that's going to be paddling with me (if we can find a boat) and I are both wannabe wildwater kayakers, so we have an idea of how the boats handle. We've also both done a little bit of c-1 playboating, and we're both crazy (probably the most important requesite  ), so I think we might actually be able to paddle one of those beasts.

The search continues...
