I realized that in my backlog of books, I have "All Things are Possible - The Verlen Kruger Story: 100,000 Miles by Paddle". Unfortunately, it does not have an index... The chapter "Verlen Kruger and His Canoes" covers the Sea Wind extensively but only says this of the Loon :
"Verlen felt his original Loon lacked adequate buoyancy aft, so over the years, added volume and buoyancy to his new designs."
Other than a few pictures, I haven't seen any more about the Loon, but then again I haven't had time to give the whole 304 pages a thorough going through.
Sea-boat?
