French River

Hi,

I am thinking about doing a trip down the French River pretty soon. Anyone know when the Ice is off the Bay, and Key river?

I have done the river a bunch of times late june to september,... anything i should be aware of other than the obvious cold hazards for a late april/early may run?

This might be a good question to post on the Canadian Canoe Routes forum, it's a great site for tripping rivers such as this.
