Of the choices listed: L'edge, Maxim and Prelude; I'd choose an Ocoee.

L'Edge durable friendly fundurable

Post by Wendy »

Created a new word- fun+ durable =fundurable
Having children, a larger boat you are coming from I highly recommend the L'Edge. I hope Mohawk gets the Maxim in plastic soon and really look forward to Jeremy's new boats.
The L'Edge is here and excellent.

I'll tell you want... After gman, dooley and I did the 2 Mile uphill hike to the Upper Big Creek put-in....

I'm pretty stoked to have a Royelex Maxim. It just sits on my shoulder and balances out very very well. Havent had a boat anywhere near this light.

That forest green would work really well on some of the stealth runs in the Poconos.

Tommy,

How is the jump from the Detonator to the Maxim going? I might be considering something similar in the future.

It's going. Just going to take dialing it in. No water around here so kind of just at a stand still.

Maxim is light, very responsive, boofs very well, good to go air to water, as it resurfaces really fast. Haven't missed a roll yet since I've gotten the outfitting right - so it rolls well.

It is an advanced boat that's for sure. I'm lookin forward to seein where it takes me. I can see going real big once I got 'er down.

Update on the L'Edge crack issue- Esqiuf has already gotten back to me about it and they are taking care of it. I've loved my L'Edge and its great to see a company take care of its customers.

Has he demo'd any of the boats he's thinking of buying? I think he'd be crazy for going based on the widely varied opinions of everyone else. I'm not a fan of a lot of boats other people love and vice versa... I would think he needs to take each one out for a trial run and decide for himself! He will be able to do what he wants to do in any of the boats listed.
