Post pics! hahaha...

A tip I learned from this website http://www.urethanesupply.com/kcwelder.php
was to sink metal mesh into the area being welded to act like rebar then cover with a layer of plastic welded on top of that. I did that on both side of the bottom weld and its holding really good.

My appologies, I'm not used to quite so many buttons, I must have edited instead of quoting. I'll try to fix that now.

Done(ish) now:

Budwieser is a style of lager, Anheuser-Busch have been making a particularly dull interpretation for more than 100 years...

I'm lowering the quality of the vid so it will fit on Vimeo. Should be up in about 30 min or so.

Hi Smurf what Plastic Welder do you use and is it hard to learn to weld plastic?

I use the pro model listed above. It was easy after reading the how-to on the website. I know some people use the hot air models but I haven't a clue whats better... this one was easy to use.

i was pretty easy to see how easy you can get the ends under. much easier than i can in my fly. whats your outfitting set up? just bulkhead or do u have some kind of straps?

that thing looks pretty fun....not quite fun enough to cut a good boat up, but a good way to salvage a cracked hull...
ain't nothin but water, rocks, and gravity
