Hi y'all
OK, I have been offered (and intend to accept) a position in Switzerland and I don't intend to take my Detonator with me. I won't lie, this boat is well used, but it definitely has a lot of life left in it. There is a small crack in the outer layer of royalex on one of the chines. I placed a skid plate over top to protect and repair this, then promptly cracked the skid plate. Turns out I used too much resin and made them too brittle. Live and learn. It's easily fixed by replacing the skid plate, but I just haven't had time what with finishing my degree and all. That's the only significant defect in the hull. Lots of scratches and scrapes, but nothing else serious.
The outfitting is super cushy and really solid - Beluga double strap system, Beluga pedastal that I modified to give better butt support (the six inch width it came with just didn't do it for me) and yakima foot braces. Easy to get in and out of, comfy and rock solid. Saddle height is nearly 10 inches I believe.
The boat has excellent Karma and has seen many wonderful rivers. It is also the only (to my knowledge) Mango Detonator in existence as it was one of the very first produced before they decided the Detonator would be yellow and the Nitro Mango.
Anyway, I'm asking $450 for the boat and am located in Ithaca, NY. I travel a fair bit and am planning a big road trip soon across the country, so delivery might be possible. We can talk about it.
If interested, send me an email or PM through the board.
Cheers
Matt

Detonator
Hi Jon
I think I have a buyer for the boat. I will post again if this is not the case.
BTW - it's really hard to contact someone who posts but is not registered on the board and doesn't leave an email.....
