Thanks Mike. I don't mind finishing second to Terry Kent. He has awesome boat handling skills. And he's very fast too!

red bull and geritol.... that's one strong concoction! Nice going John! Most of us have a hard time paddling 7 minutes no less 7 plus hours.

I'd love to finish that race in under 8 hours! I've raced it twice in the 'open recreation endurance' class. It's definately an endurance test in a 65 pound, Old Town Penobscot :o ! The 1st year we finished in 11:24:22. The 2nd year there was more water & it only took 9:41:44.
The 2nd time that we did it was '02. I think that was your 1st one, wasn't it Kaz? I know that you won your class that year. It was real early in the day when you came by us. I was real surprised to see a solo boat catch us that quickly & a whitewater guy at that 8) !
