C-Boating in Asheville-Knoxville corridor.

Post by Ben T »

In a couple weeks I'll be living in Brevard, NC and I am very interested in paddling and car pooling with other canoeists to enjoy the bounty of dam controlled rivers in the area. I have a BIG roof rack and I am interested in meeting up with people who want to save money on gas.

especially looking forward to play boating on the Ocoee and hopefulyl some runs on the green

I am looking at going to the Ocoee over the memorial day weekend, and might even be able to make it out there on Wednesday night. I will have a big group of 'yakers and one or two other c-boaters following me from Arkansas on Friday, who will be focusing on the upper and middle ocoee on the weekend. Would you be interested/available to paddle something else on Thursday or Friday? I would be looking for III or moderate IV's.

I am also thinking about trying to demo the NOC's L'Edge, but I bet they would want that to happen at the Nantahala only.

Thanks,
Shep
