I know Liquid Logic does and I'd suspect you could order the same from Jackson. I'm not sure about wavesport or Pyranha, though. You'd have to wait as if a special order, also, that doesn't solve the problem of demoing first. Isn't that kind of what those "armada" things are for, though?

Having seen the development of the L'edge, I'm sure that you and team could create something that will appeal to many paddlers. I'm just not disappointed enough with the existing kayak creek boat designs out there to shell out $1,000 for a brand new boat that just happens to be "C1 specific". In my opinion, the kayak manufacturers dump tons of money into R&D and they produce great boats, many of which happen to also be great boats as a C1, probably because R&D for a kayak isn't all too much different than what we're looking for in a C1. Different yes, but also no. Obviously a Green Boat isn't going to make a practical C1, but who can complain about the necky blunt, that boat is better as a C1 than a kayak.

All these threads about what makes good conversions, and no one ever mentions the mystic. What's up with that?

Mystic is a great kayak, I paddled one once with 2 blades. Would probably make a good conversion too. I don't see that many of them out there, and never see them come up for sale used near me.

The Mystic also heavy, I mean heavy, like heavier than the Solo.

why is the Villain so tippy - it seems to have a flat bottom, and is 65 cm wide...? Nobody converted one yet ?

Actually Bernie posted a review on it some time ago and it didn't seem so bad at all, apart from the boat being huge especially in the bow...
Watch out; that river has rocks on the bottom. :o

Even though I have never paddled one, I don't care for JK creeker designs either.. they're just f.ugly. :)

But man, I have a hard time believing that the villan is tippy. From the looks of them It just doesn't seem possible.

Maybe whoever said that was under weight for it?? :roll:

it sure don't look tippy, but it sure is big. and yeah, ugly as sin.

how's the pure holding up larry? i've seen one that was jacked up and heard about another. seems odd for prijon compare to the older stuff and how many pures i've actually seen.

mine is holding up ok. They seem kind of soft , but I haven't heard of any problems..

a few people are removing the stock outfitting and installing the pillar-rail-seat combo from the nomad because they (pures) don't seem as super bomber as we expected.

I made a front pillar for mine that is similar to the dagger style, and with my saddle in there it seems good.

I've seen a villian convesion on the Noli, guys loved it. I recently bought a used karnali to paddle on my knees. two primaray reasons were plastic last's longer, and u dont even need a bilge pump for river or creek.
Seen Paul Mason totally style his Ledge during alf. I will come closer to not being knocked in the head w/ a lighter karnali myself. the pro's v/s cons were a clean-up for me. I ain't even been in mine yet, but i'm hooked on it and open.
