Martin... I hope someone is/was shooting video of the entire prelims because the stream went down just as OC1 was to begin and a lot of people have been unhappily watching a blank screen now since JUST AFTER the men's kayak rides... how ironic???

I got up @ 5:20 local time and was watching the K1M's heat and it was working just fine... then as the OC1 heat was about to start it started experiencing "technical difficulties"... how ironic?

    Clearly it's Alex's fault...

S]-[IT happens... but why couldn't it have happened an hour later?

        Those 'technical difficulties' suck.

Well, everyone advanced to the semis in OC1.

Odri from Spain is leading, followed by Jeremy. Adria from Spain is third, then it's Tobias and Philip from Germany, followed by Eli and Bob McKee.
I had zero points in the Force, but I play a mean air guitar while side surfing :D ... and then I end my run with a refreshing swim... ...

        TGG!

I think it was Smerdas fault. He was probably sitting in front of his computer with a cheese had on at 5:00 AM.

No mention of any the "abberational boats" or paul King in (I presume) his salsa, or are they tied with your good self?

It's a shame that the stream went down (especially as the OC1 event is considered to be a crowdpleaser)

Jeremy posted that the timing system or ??? (()) went out at about the same time... so maybe it wasn't a total conspiracy.
