It's an adhesive, I mostly use it to put d-rings in the bottom of open boats. Seems to work well bonding abs to abs. Lowes and Home Depo sell some but the stuff I got from them was crap. Check something like Northwater or a good WW boat shop, maybe NOC, and they'll probably have to good stuff. Read the directions and it helps to heat it before adhering the 2 pieces of material together.

Bump. It looks great. I paddled it in flatwater yesterday. Rolled a bunch of times just for fun. There are a few minor issues to address but nothing to prevent me from paddling like it is - shave a little off the saddle (it's 7 1/2"), place for a water bottle etc. I'll try and get some photos posted in the next week. It turned out sweet.

One thing - I used the 2" plastic airline type buckles from strapworks. When I was cranking down on the strap I popped the tongue out. It popped back in but now I can't cinch down as tight as I would like to. Anybody had this problem?
