Who the hades would steal a Maxim? Or even identify it as a canoe? Reasonably rare and incredibly specific. That's like stealing a left-handed spit valve cleaning brush. What are the odds it shows up on Craigslist as a "unique beer tub"?

Hopefully it'll be found floating quietly near a corpse clogging a small flood gate.

Make sure you look under the heading "kayak" when you are looking on craigslist and other classifieds. Most "hey let's steal that cool teal thing-of-a-jig" types are goin to be doing well just to identify it as a watercraft.

I just got baack from FT o picking my boat up It only took dealing with the cops and a Ga Red Neck. It was spotted from the local paddling club forum. She called I hauled and brought back my boat.
