Paddles

Y'all heard of The Paddle Place? They have a lot of paddles listed on ebay. http://shop.ebay.com/thepaddleplace/m.h ... 4340.l2562
Right now they don't have any whitewater canoe sticks listed, but a few weeks ago I picked up a 60" all carbon Mitchell Premier for $154 + shipping.

Wow! Believe it or not, that price is cheaper than the wholesale price direct from Mitchell. Congrats on a great deal David. I wonder how those places stay in business though.

The week before, they had a curved 60" Mitchell with a carbon blade and wood shaft. Starting bid was $144. I didn't bid on that one. It sold for $144. So the next week when the all carbon stick started at $154, I entered a bid of $160 before I headed off to the river for a few days. When I got home, I was surprised to see that I got it for $154. No one else bid. They had a gorgeous all carbon 194 cm kayak whitewater stick. Starting bid was $225. I don't think anyone entered a bid. I think those retail around $450. I was skeptical about my paddle until it arrived in the mail. Perfect. No shop wear, no damage, perfect.
