We got the walk around of the new Recon from Wenonah at OR. Some interesting features.

Dana said he's hoping to get some of the open boaters who haven't paddled in a few years back in the sport and get more new boaters in boats.

Their website currently only lists one whitewater boat, the Rendezvous. I'd never heard of it. 15'8. Here's a video of it being paddled by Dana Henry, the designer of the new 13' Recon-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmsExeth-08

1. long - check
2. pronounced tumblehome - check
3. bent shaft - check
4. switching sides - check
5. *fast* - check

Oh wait he's fast, stable and stylish (at least a heck of a lot more so than me)!

Thanks for posting this haven't seen Dana seems like a life time.
He'll always be able to carry the mail as some would say.
