The grip feels more natural than the H2O and it falls right where it feels comfy for me. The blade feels good and flexes just a smidge at the leading edges when flexed against the floor. I think that could be a good thing as it would seem that it would flex instead of cracking. There is a hollow core in the center that was interesting to see how ut was sealed up and not connected to the shaft hole preventing leaks from that direction. The shaft was light and it had a very slight amount of flex. Felt a bit unconventional with the Easton aluminum shaft but I could get over that real quick. The wood t grip was glued and pinned (with a macho sized pin) and the shaft was set deep in the grip. Looked and felt very solid. It was the conventional round T grip shape and felt good in the hand.

Forgot to mention, and handling the Core paddles again yesterday reminded me to mention.. that Core has a prototype Carbon blade in the works, I handled it and it appears to be a big jump forward in performance and weight reduction from there normal fiber blade. Same general appearance but with a much stiffer/lighter/stronger blade.

Shot some video of Core today
Good looking paddles and some neat concepts. Should have it up in a few days. Stay tuned.

Very powerful, silky smooth underwater recoveries, tiny bit of pop in the shaft and a rock solid rubber grip on the shaft. I felt the rubber grip was positioned very well on the shaft, every once in awhile I would look to see where I was gripping it and I was either in the center or just a slight bit north of center. Made a point to whack a bunch of rocks with it, hardly a mark on it. It has a hollow center section in the middle of the blade which helps the paddle float higher than normal in the water when you let it float on its own. Is it a winner? YOU BET IT IS....made my L'Edge feel much faster than normal, can't wait to paddle my Spark with it
