Howdy,
so, I am going to be in Ottawa for a conference Oct 5-8. I would like to hook up with some local boaters for Oct 9-10. Is there any good boating to be done at that time of the year? Is it worth bringing a boat? Do I have to do some creeking while I'm there or should I bring a playboat? Or is it not worth it at that time of the year?
Is there anyone I could stay and paddle with (yard camping or something)?
Hope to hear from someone!
Cheers, Jan

The Ottawa River is ALWAYS good. The main will be low and should have lots of play. Bring your playboat.
I would paddle with you but i'll be in Thunder Bay by then....
post on www.boatwerks.net to meet some people in the ottawa area if you don;t hear from anyone on here.
