A better question: What boat do you paddle 90% of the time

I guess I like to mix it up as well. Obviously, it makes a big difference if you are paddling flat water as opposed to whitewater.
This weekend I am going to paddle an Ocoee. Last time I paddled before that it was a Wenonah WWC1. Before that a Dagger Prophet. Before that a Dagger Caption. Before that a Mohawk Viper 11.

This year it has been the Wenonah Advantage, as I've done far more flatwater (with family) than whitewater.
I do try and get each of the boats in the collection wet at least once a year. That's a lot more difficult than it used to be!
This Sith used to be my go-to boat, and if I could own only one that would still be it.
BUT I'm really liking the Amoeba.

Atom C1 almost all the time.
Vajda Magma 410 C2 when I can get a competent partner to paddle
Viper C1 when I want a real challenge and envy from kayakers, there's nothing like river ballet
Berry C2 if I want to camp
I also paddle our Oldtown OC2 with friends and family
So there it is.

crap... say it isn't so... I'm waiting for a call back on an affordable Tuf-Weave one I'm considering buying as you read this.pblanc wrote:The Advantage is a lovely boat.Sir Adam wrote:This year it has been the Wenonah Advantage, as I've done far more flatwater (with family) than whitewater.
I've loved the lines on that boat since well before I discovered whitewater... and if someone wants to just give me $2K I'll head to Texas to pick up a graphite one this weekend.
tell me more... tell me I'm not wasting my time or limited resources on one... tell me more about why you love or hate it... in a pm if necessary as not to jack this thread by talking about a flatwater boat.

Boat usually paddling
Pretty much split between BlackFly BlackFly and the Stinkeye
Prelude. Can't get enough of that boat.
However, when the Option arrives, it will probably be about 60/40 between Option and Prelude. Prelude on easier stuff, Option for stepping up to the plate.
