And last, but not least... my first day in a whitewater canoe, back when I was 15 or 16...
Me
Jon Lovell, the boater in the famous "Open Boat Fun" video, with his new (to him) boat
Bob McKee now of Big Dog; inexplicably choosing to use a CU Fly.
Kelvin Horner, who inspired and encouraged me to get into a canoe... He taught me to roll an OC in an eddy at the bottom of this rapid.

Yes very nice.
http://vimeo.com/28688225 - that'll fill your plate with pics...well for 4min and 28seconds.
- Great picture of Kelvin by the way - some photos capture all the elements so well.

Myself on the Nevis*, one of two new runs I did over the weekend, needless to say I felt a bit worn out by the final fall.
The paddler behind me in that last shot is our lass** who despite not having a reliable roll and generaly being scared wittless, believed she could do it and fired it up
*My first bonafide grade five river rather than drop
**My significant other in more formal parlance.
