Vintage (indestructo-layup) Blue Hole OCA for sale. Army green, painted blue, for that "antiqued" look;-)
Folded in half once, ironically less than 20miles from it's birthplace, so essentially there's a cosmetic wrinkle in the hull amidships- still works real good.
Flawless, newer gunwales, two newish thwarts, and new bow deck plate!
Split center bags, Perception hard plastic end floatation/dry storage containers, knee pads and really nice quick release thigh straps for both bow and stern.
Seats lowered to near normal kneeling thwart level, but could be returned easily to previous position.
Will include 1 pair Northwater non-adjustable toe blocks that I never got around to installing.
Surprisingly little wear on hull.
Boat is in Detroit. Could deliver to Gauley Fest, Ohiopyle Falls race, etc. Might deliver to Western NY state someday, depending on what's running, if you ain't in a big hurry.
$450 firm... - ish

The gunwales are original Blue Hole gunwales.

A few months after we wrapped it, we took a little trip to Virginia to visit Blue Hole Mach II. The new owner (John?) was super nice, and let us use his shop to remove the old gunwales and helped us install the new ones. The ones we got came with the company when he bought it (along with the molds, etc.) and were among the last. They are alluminium, and identical to the old ones, except they have nary a scratch on 'em.

To the best of my knowlege, all new Blue Holes come with vinyl gunwales.

One of the thwarts is from an earlier repair, probably from a MichiCraft. The second is "New Hole". The third is original, and there ain't much (if any) difference between the three.

The bow deck plate I think is old school Blue Hole, but from a later model year than the original, so it is slightly different from both the original and what you would get if you were to buy a new school OCA. The old one wasn't damaged very badly- I think the rational for replacing it was that we already had the old one off and the one that we put on is somewhat beefier.

I'll be leaving pretty soon for vacation. I plan on getting my digital camera fixed when I get back,so if you shoot me an e-mail around the end of August/early September, I'll send you some pics.

Kevin
