Another Wheelboy question

Post by darreng »

What is the outfitting going to consist of? I'm interested in the boat, but I would really interested if the outfitting is ready to go (with the exception of small modifications.)

outfittiing

Outfitting is really simple. I had to make an compromise with outfitting. i wanted not to make you boyz pay for large steaming pile of dog doo youo do not like so i left somethings like straps out and took it of the price.

The fitiing is Much like the old dagger-saddle with added outside knee support but way stiffer. Stiffness comes form kevlar and aluminium bars. It will give high support for yout bottom to avoid canning and make you bounce high. plate is a bolt on from each end so it wil lstay in there in a place.

We made the seatplate in kevlar to make it highly customable and adaptive to many styles of outfitting. You can laminate even kneecups on that for aggressive slalom fit :-). Galasport has nice ones i use.

The seat itself has some foamblocks and additional thermoformed foampads. We vill add some foam to fiddle with.

To get out there ripping takes only straps. attcment is no problem just bolt on to as close to yuor hips as you want.

We vill have a separate strap set later and now test few models. I want it strong, safe and reliable so it takes time get it just right.
