I have one

If the appaloosa saddle is the foam version of the Perception saddle then I have one in my Vertige-X and I love it. It's ten times better than the Perception saddle and less than half the weight. The saddle came with the Vertige-X but Jacques (owner of Esquif) said that he isn't making them any more because its too labor intensive and the foam cost too much. I have no idea on how to contact Buluga. Does anyone have the contact information?

The name of the company is Beluga. there is a link to it on the cboats home page. See also below.

Cost of saddle

When I emailed the company they said they were $200 (US) but were out. There are no American dealers so they were going to sel one direct.

Thanks for the replies Wendy and Guys. I emailed Beluga and several of the dealers listed but no info, yet. I'm reoutfitting a Blue Hole Sequel and I like the perception type saddle without the extra weight. thanks greg

I work on my free time for this kayak and canoe company in Granby Quebec called Horizon Aventure they sell the Appaloosa saddle and pretty much everything from Beluga. He's also a good friend of Andre Drolet Beluga's owner since they sometimes paddle together he could get you a saddle because he does have some at the store right now... that is if he asn't sold them while I'm writting this.

Here is their work number (450) 375-2686 or 888 375-2686 it's Mario or David.

I just spoke to David. If you still have your saddle on order he told me to let you know that they are being made this week and will ship out by next week.
