Hey UT paddler,
Come to the wave at Longhorn Dam on Pleasant Valley Dr. Most evenings the release is 4000 cfs which creates a wave about 75 feet across with about a 3' foam pile. Great fun! I'm the only c-boater/open boater. I live 100 miles from Austin, so it's just weekends for me, but you can stop by and check it out and meet the locals almost any time.
