Kneal, I can't wait to offer up those excuses for blowing my roll!

I think staying calm, positioning are key - and considering it's a C1, the "too much water in the boat" doesnt "hold water" for me.. (ahhhahahahahahah, brilliant)

Although I guess I could claim that my skirt blew. hmmm... no-one will ever know except the trout/pickerel (we don't have Gar up here all that much)

Oh - and Martin - I think you missed an excuse: "I flipped upsidedown in the bridge rapid on the Beaver and crashed into the river bed at the bottom - When I went to try my role, I thought I broke my paddle but then I realized my shoulder was broken"

Mike, at least you don't have to come up with stupid stuff like:
"Dude, I did not get the feathering right"

My last blown roll was when I snapped my paddle off and my handroll failed.
That was in a POOL AND FROM UNDERWATER I SAW MY BUDDY SMILING AT ME. Oh well.

Pat, my buddy Jakub never misses his roll but he missed a line once and blamed it on not having had a beer yet. (he is Czech).

Cheers, Jan

I need to make up an excuse when I MAKE MY ROLL,

though my last swim I thought I would flush if I exited the boat- I was wrong... and stopped rolling on purpose-

before that I had a period where I lost my roll- hope I dont lose it anymore
