Kneal, I can't wait to offer up those excuses for blowing my roll!
I think staying calm, positioning are key - and considering it's a C1, the "too much water in the boat" doesnt "hold water" for me.. (ahhhahahahahahah, brilliant)
Although I guess I could claim that my skirt blew. hmmm... no-one will ever know except the trout/pickerel (we don't have Gar up here all that much)
Oh - and Martin - I think you missed an excuse: "I flipped upsidedown in the bridge rapid on the Beaver and crashed into the river bed at the bottom - When I went to try my role, I thought I broke my paddle but then I realized my shoulder was broken"
