Forgive please, dump valves for air bags source?

As hard as they are to open and as small as the gluing surfaces are I don't see these holding up. Closer inspection of my air bag shows some sort of backer on the inside of the bag apparently molded to the valve in the photo.

The poolside water bag idea sounds great -- prolly just cut the vinyl around the valve and glue in place. Too bad the bait-and-switch thieves at the site want eight bucks for shipping. I know, I know, that's only an extra four bucks per air bag but, hey, isn't part of open boating being a cheapskate with principles?!?!
