I don't think he meant quite that... I read it as a C1 hull is less forgiving in cross-currents and boogie water, and so requires quicker changes in lean and such to stay upright. Obviously this is a generalization, and wouldn't apply to comparing a Cascade or a Hahn to Millbrook Inferno.

It's cool to see that so many people do C1 and OC1 together. I bought my first C1 about a year ago. Since then, I have been paddling maybe 50/50 between the Atom and the L'edge. In the C1, I like being able to see more of the hull where it directly meets the water. I like the instant feedback.
