Sandy Stream boof:

Sandy Stream, "Rope Swing"

Yes, Sandy Stream really is a large collection of perfect 5-8 foot boofs with some slides thrown in. What more is there to want?

It's a fun line in a fun rapid. I was hoping to run up onto the rock, but the Pillow was a bit bigger than usual (higher release) and I got too much of it under the boat, rose too fast, and deflected. Had to go for the backhand. In the other Pillow video on the Vimeo page, Travis Overstreet gets a good splat (he's in the orange C1).

Ahh I'm not having much luck embedding it right now... Here is a link to the photobucket account if anyone's interested (have some surfing and some highwater (4000 cfs) Gauley pics, in addition to some odd edging braces in my L'edge)

Just needed to right click the photo, hit properties & copy the url.

Cboats.net doesn't have local hosting. You will need to upload them to a photo site of some sort, and then link the photos from there.

Tokebelokee I think I boated with one of your friends on the Gauley this past weekend... I think his name was Andrew (he was from Charlottsville I think?) I just saw your Vimeo account name and recognized it from when he was talking about you

Yep, that is Andrew Epperley. He is a good boater-does some Cboating as well, I think, or is getting into it. It sounds like most of his boating has been surf boating around Virginia Beach.
