Where and when are the Pan-America Games this year?

Is there any qualifying or team you have to be on to play in the pan-america games?
What other competitions are there out there, I wanna play cuz it'd be cool meet people and learn some cool paddling tricks

what event do you mean? the pan-am slalom champs were held a few weeks back. the freakin brazilians took 2nd in c1 and 3rd in k-1!

I really have no clue about any competitions

so i was tryinmg to sound like i knew what i was talking about

but i guess my real question is when are there any upcoming competitions??????
i'd like to paddle with some pros or at least older more experienced paddlers....
