So last weekend I took my new vibe out for its fourth river day. I landed my first loop in Calahans hole on the upper Ocoee that day, but much to my chagrin I severly crumpled the nose on my Vibe from tapping the rock on the bottom. Not only was the bow bent up, but there was a pretty obvious crease as far back as the front of the cockpit. Having purchased the boat from the NOC, I took it back there today to have them take a look at it. All of the NOC staff looked at it and the conclusion was that the Boat DEFINITELY shouldn't have bent like that from playboating. Mark from the NOC called Necky, and they told him that if NOC feels its a warranty issue, Necky will stand behind their decision. A few minutes later I am swapping my outfitting over to a new Vibe. Its great to have a company that stands behind their products and their dealers. The NOC definitely didn't have to give me a boat out of their stock either, but there was no question as to wether that was what they wanted to do for me. I definitely am glad to spend my $$ with a business like that.
