I'm not sure if I'll make this weekend or not. I want to go, but will have to see how late work goes on Friday . If I do, I will not camp along the Savage. I was just told of a campground with showers nearby!
They are only releasing till noon on Sunday. How early do you need to start to not run out of water ?
"wonderful state campground just a mile or so past the church where you turn to head down to the put in. I don't remember the name or any details, I just remember that it was nice and clean. I won't be camping this wk-nd, but next time I camp up there that's where I'll be.
Just go past the turn toward the put in, and go till you see a junky looking yard on left in a sharp right turn, then be on the lookout for the entrance to the campground. It's on the right."

I think we'll be fine if we get on by 9 - we'll probably all start to gather around 8:00 at take out - there will be several of us - depending of course on what happens w/the weather due in this week-end. We'll be driving up Sat. pm. - don't know where we're camping yet - most likely will be by the Savage-
We'll have J.'s teal Chevy truck w/2 OC-1's on toop - black and yellow...if you're coming be sure to look us up!

Well...

Sorry I missed this! I was without a PC (so info challenged) and without a boat (family obligated)! I was also checking out J's handy work in DC and hanging at the beach.
I hope you had fun and maybe I can talk my way into heading up to the Hudson - rumor has it you might head that way.

PS: Remind J I would like to the photos from the LY - that lad is a HAM!
