maybe...
Hi Randy,
I saw your mesage too late, I was in Bellingham yesterday spending my boat money an an OC-2 (Appalachain)!
A C-1 isn't a huge a priority for me right now (considering lack of funds), but I thought I'd let you know that I am somewhat interested. I also think the ForPlay might be on the small/playful side for me as a first C-1, I'm 5'9" 205lbs. I'll look into a bit more. Is it outfitted with your adjustable fence rail system or other accessories?
I'll get in touch directly if I have an epiphany and decide to buy it. You do the same if you happen to coming up to BC.
Cheers, Pat.

Forplay Outfitting
Pat,
I think the Forplay could be a good match for your size and weight. At 175 and 5'9", I need all my weight and a little luck to throw it around. I think it can handle 205. If you had the dough, I'd have to say try a Wheelboy before you buy! But hey, at $250, the Forplay is a good option. I have run a few rivers in it, and enjoyed it.
This boat is outfitted with my fully adjustable rail treatment, including hip pads. No airbags or other. Sturdy boat in good condition. The rail rig is designed to be easy to adjust and / or to move to a new kayak, and has $100+ worth of materials in it.
I can send it as far as B-ham with a friend if you want. Lemme no...

thanks, but no
Randy, It's tempting in part for your outfitting, but I'm advised that it's probably not what I'm looking for. I'll get a chance to test drive one sometime soon to see for myself, but there's also one for sale here super cheap, so either way I likely won't follow up on yours. Thanks though, and good luck, Pat.
Re: Forplay FS
do you have any pics that you could send out? Might be interested.Cone Bone wrote:Wavesport Forplay, rigged as C-1, original kayak outfitting available. Good condition $250. Located in Oly, WA. Will ship at buyers expense.
(I am actually looking for an X or Z, but have found them hard to come by) Comparisons would be helpful, as I am a kayaker just switching to half a paddle.
