Oppinions on the Sequel?

I'm looking for an OC-1. I won't paddle it much, but need something to do the slalom race in Charlotte with. If I were going to go back to paddling OC regularly, I'd get something in glass. I have found a Blue Hole Sequel. Is this design worth messing with? I don't expect to be super competitive, I just want to participate. Also, how well does this boat ender?
