creekin' in the Smokies- attn Louie!

Post by MotorCityOC-1 »

So I'm lookin' for some III/IV creekin' this weekend, and likely candidates include the Little and the Doe. No Tellico

I don't know either of these runs- are they both really still gunna be running this Sat? Sun? The gauge readings for the Doe look a little goofy, could the gauge be off? Am I missing something?

If the Doe holds it's water so well, why don't I hear about it all the time? It looks COOL!

Too bad the Little and the Doe aren't closer together :-? Are there any other good options I'm missing? I wouldn't be above a class II/III run if it's fun and real purty. Or if I could paddle it in a Taureau

Thanks Louie.

I'm just pickin on you cuz I figure you have the mad knowledge re: creekin' in the Smokies. It's a long drive back to Detroit if the creek you had your eye on drops below zero while you're still trying to get to it.

Have fun on the Watauga- I would get thumped :o

The offer for a bed is very kind, but I have no idea yet how big my posse will be. I'll pray for an isolated heavy rain. Give me a shout if you end up on something a full grade wussier that the Watauga.
