While it would have been nice to not have to keep hauling that heavy OC back to the top. I didn't hear any of the swimmers complaining about the easy course. I raced the early sessions on Friday & Saturday, then judged the late sessions. Bunches of swimmers, one boat busted up. I didn't see anyone else roll...yeah, I got 670 seconds of penalties on that run, but I didn't swim. Downriver...that was a different story . Serves me right for using that little bitty outrigger paddle
I suspect Charlotte will put in a bid in the near future. If they do, work on that roll. I understand Charlotte is shallow & there is "road rash" involved in every swim
