cboaters and boating around Newport, RI

Post by Drew W. »

Hey Folks
I'm interviewing around now since I'm about to graduate and I've been invited to interview in Newport. Any of y'all familiar with the boating scene around there or I guess the Boston metro area too? Thanks!

virtually nothing as to whitewater in Little Rhody, tho you can't count out ocean surfing or the occasional heavy rain , see:

Best bet is Western MA or Central CT

There are a number of avid OC boaters who come from the Providence area. They travel 2 to 3 hours each way to paddle.
