German C boating contacts
I am to be in Munich mid May through to August and an looking for C boat contacts to run rivers with. I'v never been there before and know nothing about boating there so any help would be appreciated. I'v been an open canoe boater for fourteen years but am strictly C1 now
Welcome, welcome to Germany!
There are not a lot but some very dedicated C-boaters in Southern Germany. Although Munich is not quite around the block from my place I come to Bavaria very often to paddle. Let's meet someplace sometime.
First and for mid of May the best option: Come to the Swiss Armada (http://www.cboats.net/cforum/viewtopic.php?t=5511), that's where you'll meet many nice C-boaters very easily.
Thomas Fink is one of the best German C-boaters, he lives somewhere in Bavaria (close to Augsburg, I think...). Ask Olli Grau (http://www.olli-grau.de) for contact.
Contact NZMatt, he's a Kiwi currently living in Switzerland, on this forum.
Let us know when you're finally here...
