So I'm beginning to have more and more fun with my amp C1 sinking ends and stuff, and I was just wondering, what are your favorite playboat?

Today's designs are getting smaller and slower and without even willing to throw a loop at all, I was just wondering what you guys are liking.

I guess atoms are great to mess around in, and I would love to see a plastic Sith around in the market, but that's nowhere near to happen I would guess... My amp is narrow (24inches) and I would love to have my hands on a fun C1 that's more stable, easy to paddle, can sink ends and still get *some* way forward...

I have paddled a converted Amp - and did have fun with it. But I am glad I held out and bought a Drakkar Wheelboy. It is a nicely set-up play boat. I have heard that only 14 of them made there way into the US. If you can find one and are under 200 lbs. - grab it. My 2 cents.

Always been the Crazy, ever since I first paddled it as a 'Yak i knew it was right, which was why i converted it... Narrow, but great secondary stablity and the rails allow you to unleash so much energy on the wave! (if only i had the skills to control that properly)

I've been raving about the LL session since I first got one. It has a nice wide flat bottom it is long enough to gain some speed and the ends are squashed like a squirt boat.

I've got one for sale.

On the other hand I've been really excited about what I've been seeing of the Fluid Nemesis and the Jackson All Star.

If you like the Sith, but want plastic get a Forplay. It's not as stable as the Sith, weighs almost double & is nowhere near as stiff. That said, it's 8'1" so it's not a super pig. It spins well for plastic. It is better than the Sith for enders (I could sink the bow & land on the stern).

If you want a great all around boat, get a Sith. It's funny when folks ask me if I had the boat designed for my local wave It's not much more $$ than a new plastic boat. If you figure the time, materials & effort to convert you're $$ ahead to have a Sith built.
