Anyone here try a micro 250 as a c1?
Considering a creek c1 shorter than my cascade and a friend has a micro that may be an option.

I did one a while back - it wasn't too bad (I picked it up for a case of beer since it had a crack in it) but considering that there are much new designs and that that is an older model (they were often cracked under the seat) I think there are better choices.
That said if its cheap and the you have the materials for outfitting it might make sense. It can be a bit of hole bait so stay agressive.
Also outfit so that you can re-use the materials in another boat down the road...My $.01.

Micro 250
I use to paddle a Micro 250 as a c-1 and thought it made a real nice comfy c-1, I liked it a lot.
For me; boating brings me closer to to something divine, and in a open canoe I'm 8 Inches closer.
