FS/Trade: Mad River KEVLAR Explorer 16ft.

This boat is ultra light, made from Dupont Kevlar 49 material. It is an original Mad River vermont boat. I am almost finished a complete wood restoration, just need to re-cane the seats and finish a few minor things. It as been test paddled and is stable and very fast.

When new this canoe sold for $2500. The hull is impressively scratchless and it was only used a few times on flat water before it was stored for a number of years.

It is set up for solo and tandem paddling complete with knee pads and a thigh strap D ring.

Looking to get $1500 or best offer for it, or $1100 as is now and you finish the seats...

Would consider a trade for a Skeeter, Dagger Quake, Spanish Fly, or similar canoe (partial or full trade based on boat)
